Thiem and Ofner Advance to B18s Final
By virtue of his semifinal 6-0, 6-2 defeat of Mitchell Krueger [4] (USA) Saturday, Dominic Thiem [1] (AUT) positioned himself to repeat as the B18s Eddie Herr Champion. In his final test of the tournament, the defending B18s Eddie Herr champion will face his countryman and doubles partner Patrick Ofner [6] (AUT) Sunday at 11:00 a.m. to decide the 2011 B18s singles championship. Ofner toppled Liam Broady [2] (GBR) 6-2, 6-3 in the semifinals.

Three-set Battles Mark G18s Semifinals
Yulia Putintseva [2] (RUS) fought her way back to overcome a strong semifinal start by Taylor Townsend [13] (USA) Saturday to advance to the G18s final, 2-6, 7-6(5), 6-4. Not to be denied, Putintseva ran, dug, slid, and vocalized her way back into the match, and after three hours and ten minutes, emerged the victor.

It was a similar story in the other G18s semi. Victoria Kan [9] (RUS) needed two hours and thirty-seven minutes to battle back from a first-set loss to oust Ganna Poznikhirenko [11] (UKR) 4-6, 6-4, 6-3.

The Russian girls will face off in G18s championship match Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Putintseva was the 2010 Eddie Herr G18s finalist.

Black to Play Smith in G16s Finals
The 2011 Eddie Herr G16s championship will be determined Sunday at 9:30 a.m. The final match will feature two Americans, Tornado Black (WC) (USA) and Alyssa Smith (USA). Black defeated Dasha Ivanova (USA) 6-2, 7-5 in the semifinals to advance. Smith earned her berth in the final by persevering over Caroline Doyle (USA) 6-4,1-6, 6-1 in the semis.

Qualifier Schafer to Play Wild Card Mylnikov for B16s Title
In B16s semifinal action, Andrew Schafer [Q] (USA) took out Jordi Arconada [9] (ARG) 7-6(3), 6-1 to move another step closer to the B16s championship. Tommy Mylnikov [WC] (CAN) also dismissed a seed, Andrei Apostol [15] (ROM) 6-2, 6-2, in the semis to make his way to the finals.

Schafer and Mylnikov will square off Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the B16s championship match.

G14s Final to Feature Kalinina and Shishkina
Anhelina Kalinina [6] (UKR) scored a 6-2, 6-2 victory of Ana Konjuh [4] (CRO) in one G14s semifinal Saturday. In the other semi, Mariya Shishkina took three sets to upset Naiktha Bains [2] (AUS) -6(4), 6-2, 7-5. Kalinina and Shishkina will play for the Eddie Herr G14s championship Sunday at 11:00 a.m.

Tabilo and Hong Advance to B14s Final
In Saturday’s B14s semifinals, Alejandro Tabilo [16] (CAN) dismissed Chan Yeong Oh [KOR] 6-4, 6-2 and Seongchan Hong [9] (KOR) eliminated fellow Korean and 2010 Eddie Herr B12s Champion Duckhee Lee [5] (KOR) 6-1, 6-3.

Tabilo and Hong will play for the B14s championship Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
